Route / Navigation:
The route has no
marked long distance path. The trails are through woods, forests,
heather moors and grass lawns (the New Forest term for open
grassland) It will be marked the whole way by signs but be wary of
your route at all times, the forest is a big place and you can get
lost. So long as you keep your eyes open it is straightforward. Maps
and route cards will be supplied.
Each runner will
be provided with a route card and for some events a 1:25000 map
section of the route, plus GPS downloads will be available nearer
the time of the event.
